About Us

Established in 1979, the East Harlem Council for Human Services, Inc. Senior Nutrition Program for Older Adults, funded by the Department for the Aging (DFTA) at Casabe Houses which is located at 150 East 121st Street, provides recreational, supportive services and over 190 hot meals each weekday to any individual 60 years and older.

The center offers a place for older adults to enjoy each other’s company while offering them all sorts of programming to enrich their lives.  We know many of our older adults are often socially isolated, which may lead to feelings of loneliness and depression.

The center is open Monday thru Friday from 9am to 5pm, contact us at 212-722-2205 or email us at olderadults@boriken.org, for more information.
